Dean Crawley
Director and Founder
Friendly, approachable, enthusiastic, reliable and a highly motivated professional. Started True Grain Carpentry in 2013 having spent his formative years gaining qualifications and valuable experience learning all aspects of carpentry with various companies in the public housing sector.
First became fascinated in the role of wood in the construction trade when only 5 years old when helping his father with roofing works and pitched his first full roof single handedly when just 18 years old. Extremely conscientious work ethic, completing each job to the highest standards with the emphasis very much on customer satisfaction.
Dean personally sees every project through from initial contact through to completion handover stage and aftercare.
I have always been passionate about carpentry and working with wood and am very proud of my work. I strive to achieve the best possible standards on every job I tackle, whether it be an entirely new vaulted roof or a bedroom wardrobe.

Ben Wilde
Projects Manager
Joined True Grain Carpentry and started working with Dean 7 years ago. From college early years were spent gaining experience in logistics management with a residential service company. An interest in carpentry and the construction industry led to further studies as an apprentice within the building supply environment.
Extremely conscientious, a true tradesman who goes above and beyond for all of his customers and takes great pride in managing all True Grain projects.
Ben is Dean’s right hand man and has been helping to grow True Grain Carpentry from the very beginning.
I always try to do the best for customers in providing value and service. When it comes to True Grain Carpentry nothing less than perfection will do!

We're trying to our bit for the planet too. Wood must be the ultimate resource when it comes to sustainability ...all of the timber stock we use is the best quality grade from trusted reputable suppliers and complies with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC certification. Wherever possible we try to choose the shortest supply chain for building and construction materials, minimise waste and operate in an ethically and environmentally responsible manner.
